Apex Amplify Ltd, trading as Sabil Finance (“Sabil Finance“, “we“, “us“, “our“), is the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website. We are registered in England and Wales. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and how to contact us or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you have a concern.


1. What data we collect

1.1 Data you provide directly

  • Newsletter subscribers: Your email address, and optionally your first name. Collected when you subscribe to our newsletter via Beehiiv.
  • Course purchasers: Your name, email address, billing address, and payment information. Payment card data is processed by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • Gulf Accelerator applicants: Your name, country, email address, WhatsApp number, investment experience, and motivation statement.
  • Contact enquiries: Your name, email address, and the content of your message.

1.2 Data collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, referral source, browser type, operating system, and IP address — collected via server logs and analytics tools.

2. How we use your data

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.


3. Retention periods

  • Newsletter subscribers: Until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days for deletion processing.
  • Course purchase records: 7 years from the date of purchase (legal and accounting obligation).
  • Gulf Accelerator applications: 12 months if unsuccessful; the duration of the programme plus 7 years if accepted.
  • Contact enquiries: 12 months from resolution.
  • Server logs: 90 days.

4. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, email hello@sabilfinance.com with the subject line “Data Rights Request”.

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): Ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.
  • Right to restrict processing: Ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: Request a machine-readable copy of data you have provided to us, where processing is based on consent or contract.
  • Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.
  • Rights related to automated decision-making: We do not use solely automated decision-making for decisions that significantly affect you.

We will respond to rights requests within one calendar month. We may extend this by two further months for complex or numerous requests, and will notify you if we do so.

We use the following third-party processors. Each has been selected for UK/EU data protection compliance.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.


6. International transfers

Some of our third-party processors are located outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we rely on either UK adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO to ensure your data is protected to a UK-equivalent standard.


7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the website to function. Cannot be switched off. No consent required.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email.
